St Mary's Church

St Mary's Church plays host to the festival's intimate and incredibly special headline concerts.

The church has the most wonderful acoustics and is a unique setting which provides a truly exceptional atmosphere and an unforgettable experience. 

Concerts taking place at St Mary's Church include Laura Mvula, Ruby Turner, Mike Farris, Mario Biondi, Joe Stilgoe and The Brand New Heaves.

Rye Community Centre

The festival in partnership with the Brewery Yard Club present three intimate evening music events at the Rye Community Centre during the festival. 

There will be a fully licensed bar and these performances are being presented in an intimate cabaret seated format with staging and lighting.

Outdoor Stage Kino Rye

Gates open each day from 11.00am with performances from 12.00pm to 9.30pm on Saturday 26, Sunday 27 and Monday 28 August. 

A fully licensed bar and food is available at the outdoor stage venue and please note that no alcohol or food will be permitted to be taken in the site with the exception of water. 

As a non-for-profit organisation the festival will be asking those that attend our free music events to kindly make a minimum donation of £5.00 to the festival which assists in the considerable costs in providing the wonderful free music to all. Thank you for your support and cooperation.

You can expect to experience the very best in local and regional music talent performing Jazz, Blues, Roots, Funk, Latin and much more.

THE LOOKOUT RYE

The Lookout is a small independent restaurant with rooms, located in the heart of medieval Rye just beyond the town’s ‘Landgate’.

The Ship Inn

The Old Bell

William The Conqueror

Famed as the scene of the Norman invasion, Rye Harbour is a pretty, historic spot on the East Sussex coast - and when you’re in town, the William the Conqueror is the perfect place to set up camp.

The Buttermarket

The Buttermarket is the open area at the front of Rye Town Hall, not routinely open to the public, this unique outdoor location hosts many of our free festival performances.

Free live music performances outside the Buttermarket during the festival are subject to confirmation of additional funding!

De La Warr Pavilion

The spectacular modernist 1935 Grade 1 listed Pavilion sits just above the promenade on the seafront in Bexhill.

The Pavilion is free to enter, open every day and welcomes everyone. 

The festival has presented many outstanding concerts at this amazing venue and most recently presented 
Macy Gray in concert on Friday 3 June 2022.
