Over the early 2019 May bank holiday weekend, the festival presented a wonderful eclectic series of World – Class concerts at the unique setting of St Mary’s church Rye, East Sussex.
On Friday 3 May we presented the ‘Godfather’ of bossa nova and Brazilian music Sergio Mendes, and then on Saturday 4 May, we presented the highly acclaimed American jazz singer Madeleine Peyroux.
To complete this superb concert series, we had the great honour of presenting the legendary Multiple Grammy-winning American songwriter Jimmy Webb with special guest and award – winning jazz singer Ian Shaw on Sunday 5 May.
