Celebrating 10 Years - GREAT THINGS COME FROM SMALL BEGINNINGS
Join us in the beautiful and historic town of Rye East Sussex, as the festival proudly celebrates ten years.
Over the years the festival has grown organically, each year we have always embraced new and exciting opportunities to expand and add to the festival.
More so than ever before we must look forward to a brighter future and we are immensely proud to have reached a significant milestone since the festival’s inception back in 2012.
Over the years we have had the privilege and pleasure to have presented an array of world–class artistes in concert including, José Feliciano, Beverley Knight, Gregory Porter, Dionne Warwick, Nigel Kennedy, Mica Paris, Ginger Baker, Sergio Mendes, Curtis Stigers, Rick Wakeman, Courtney Pine, Rumer, Incognito, Paul Carrack, Richard Thompson, Jimmy Webb, Madeleine Peyroux, and many others.
Our programme this year includes world-class headline concerts with acclaimed and respected artistes taking place at the unique and exceptional setting of St Mary’s Church, Rye.
In addition, there will be ticketed and free music events taking place at local venues and three days of wonderful outdoor free music performances on our outdoor performance stage at the Kino Cinema and at the Butter Market located centrally within the heart of the Citadel.
We are also very proud to be working with our charity partners ‘The Music Well’ who transform lives through the power of music therapy.
Music inspires, provides joy and wellbeing to us all from all walks of life and backgrounds and our exciting festival programme is designed to ensure that all those that attend enjoy the very best of Jazz, Blues, Roots, RnB, Soul, Funk, Latin and much more. We pride ourselves on providing the platform for both established and emerging music talent to perform at the festivals subsidised free outdoor music venues.
Why not get a group of friends together, treat someone special or visit with the family to soak up the August bank holiday sunshine.
There are many fantastic restaurants, hotels, wine bars, pubs, galleries, boutiques, and antique shops to experience when visiting Rye.
We gratefully thank all those that have attended the festival, the town of Rye, our venues, sponsors, patrons, advertisers, suppliers, and our mazing festival team of volunteers that make the festival what it is today.
We wish you a fabulous Easter holiday and we look forward to you joining us in Rye at the end of August.
