The festival welcomes back Freak Flag Power Trio after their storming performance last year! The power trio close the Kino Outdoor stage on Saturday evening from 6pm. Expect an epic performance!
Freak Flag are a power trio dedicated to recapturing the rock pioneering spirit of Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Fleetwood Mac, The Doors, Deep Purple, Neil Young and other iconic artists of the era with experienced professional musicians; David Driver, drum, Neil Roberts, guitar and vocals and John Delipps: Bass and Vocal.

Freak Flag are a power trio rocking the psychedelic sounds of the 60’s made famous by the likes of Jimi Hendrix and Cream. Led by professional drummer David Driver, who starting playing aged ten in a youth marching band and having lessons by the Royal Marines. He is now a professional drummer, teacher and key member of the Drumsense Teaching programme. He is joined on stage by Neil Roberts on guitar and vocals and Jon Delipps on bass and vocals.
This year the festival is pleased to continue alfresco jazz at the wonderful Kino cinema Terrace in the heart of Rye.
Situated in the middle of town, next to the Butter Market and St Mary’s Church, this beautiful building has been recently refurbished and transformed into one of the best boutique cinemas East Sussex has to offer, and is equipped with state-of-the-art digital high definition projection and sound equipment to ensure the highest quality viewing experience.
Kino Rye’s intimate and stylish café-bar and sunny outside courtyard is popular with film-goers and also with customers who just want to enjoy the excellent coffee, cake and other delicious offerings, many of which are supplied by local producers.
With a fantastic food menu and fully licenced bar, come relax on the Kino Terrace and enjoy some wonderful sounds.
