Ola Onabule - This Sunday a Soul & Funk Sensation

With tickets selling fast for festival events don't miss out on remaining tickets for Ola Onabule, he is set to raise the roof of St Mary's Church on Sunday 24 August with his outstanding 5-piece band.

Ola Onabule’s voice is unmistakably gentle and wistful, haunting and heartbreaking - reminiscent of the great soul and jazz voices of the 1960s and 70s. He has shared the stage with some of the world’s finest soul and jazz artistes; Al Jarreau, Dianne Reeves, Roberta Flack, Natalie Cole, Gladys Knight and Patti LaBelle.

Ola is no stranger to headlining major International festivals in fact; Ola’s emotionally charged live performances have taken him to some of the most prestigious festival stages, concert halls and jazz clubs worldwide including the main stage of the Montreal Jazz Festival, Vancouver International Jazz Festival, Edmonton and Victoria Jazz Festival in Canada as well as numerous other festivals worldwide.

Ola has also featured with some of Europe’s finest Big Bands and Orchestras which include the WDR Big Band of Cologne, the Babelsberg Film Orchestra, the SWR Radio Big Band of Stuttgart, the HR Big Band of Frankfurt with arrangements of his beautifully crafted songs.
