After a successful launch in 2018 we are delighted to once again be working with our friends at The Gallivant in Camber to bring you two superb events - Jazz Brunch with legendary bassist Herbie Flowers and Planet Cuba with Son Yambu - on Bank Holiday Monday 26th August.
We are delighted to welcome back to the festival legendary bass player Herbie Flowers on Bank Holiday Monday.
Herbie and his wonderful group of talented musicians are set to entertain you in the beautiful setting of The Gallivant Hotel with a packed programme of fantastic music, witty anecdotes and stories from his fascinating life in the music business! You’ll be spoilt for choice refreshment wise as your ticket includes a glass of bucks fizz on arrival followed by a delicious two course breakfast.

Join us at The Gallivant Hotel in Camber just a short drive from Rye as we proudly present Planet Cuba a fantastic afternoon of wonderful Cuban music with Son Yambu who will be performing authentic Cuban son, the intoxicating fusion of Spanish and African rhythms that gave rise to salsa.
Experience the red-hot rhythms of Son Yambu straight from the streets of Eastern Cuba as well as a DJ spinning cool sounds to enjoy the afternoon. There will be seating and dancing areas so bring your dancing shoes!
