Join us at the 6th summer Rye international jazz & blues festival this coming August where a wide range of fabulous free live music performances will take place within the heart of Rye during the festival days and evenings. The streets of Rye come alive with intoxicating music which provides a wonderful atmosphere and vibrancy.
The Kino Terrace will play host to an eclectic and exciting mix of live music performances on our dedicated outdoor performance stage. Performances will take place in the daytime and evenings from Thursday 24th through to Bank Holiday Monday 28th August.
The Kino Terrace is located within the centre of Rye on Lion Street, and provides a wonderful platform for both established and emerging music talent to perform to an appreciative audience during the festival.
The Butter Market which is located directly below the Rye Town Hall is also a focal point for music events which take place in the afternoons on Saturday 26th, Sunday 27th and Monday 28th August.
We promise you a wonderful blend of the very best jazz, blues, roots, folk, Latin, funk, RnB, fusion, Cuban and World music at both the Kino Terrace stage and the Butter market.
There will be dedicated bar facilities, tasty street food and a road closure in place over the main festival weekend allowing you to wonder freely between the Butter Market and the outdoor stage.
