Tickets are selling fast for this incredibly special concert as Grammy Award-winning British songstress and guitarist Corinne Bailey Rae is set to delight the audience at the iconic De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill-on-Sea on Friday 7th September. Don't miss this unique performance.
Corinne has celebrated huge successes in Europe, the United States and Asia over the past years, including guesting with Stevie Wonder at his Hyde Park concert for a crowd of 100,000. She’ll bring her collection of hits such as Green Aphrodisiac, Put Your Records On and Like A Star as well as material from her breathtaking new album The Heart Speaks In Whispers.
We are delighted to announce that Andreya Triana will be supporting Corinne Bailey Rae at this concert.
Andreya is an experimental and self-taught singer and songwriter originally hailing from South East London. Her husky voice is reminiscent of predecessors Lauryn Hill and Cassandra Wilson, and her musical blend of moody soul and up-tempo pop finds her sitting with her fellow 21st century European artists rather than their American counterparts.
She has spent the best part of the last 2 years in the studio working on her next record. She’s been enjoying collaborating in the studio with the likes of Kwabs, Sam Dixon (Sia), Dee Adams (Dido), Jin Jin (Jess Glynne, Jax Jones, Raye), as well as featuring on tracks from Sonny Fodera, Danny Howard, Pablo Nouvelle and Bondax.
With her new unreleased song ‘Woman’ already placed as the title track for the latest ‘Me Too’ campaign, a short film ‘Leading Lady Parts’ starring Catherine Tate and Amelia Clarke to name a few and hosted by the BBC, Andreya is certainly gearing up to take 2019 by storm.
