Remember to hold the dates in your diary from Thursday 13th to Saturday 15th December this year as we are delighted to confirm that we will be presenting our December Christmas series comprising of three exceptional concerts at the stunning setting of St Mary’s church in Rye.
Our December series will include the highest quality world class artists performing intimate concerts in a wonderful and truly unique setting. Over the years the festival has gained a superb reputation for presenting these special concerts with a carefully handpicked selection of contemporary and eclectic styles of music that appeal to a wide audience.
This December will be no exception and always these concerts provide the perfect opportunity to treat yourself, that special person, friends or family to a truly memorable night out on the run up to the Christmas festive period.
We will be announcing our confirmed programme in the near future and if you are a regular festival attendee and are on our database then rest assured that you will be the first to know.
What we can always guarantee is that you will experience something incredibly special at our concerts, a very personal service and a wholesome dose of amazing music just prior to Christmas to get you into that festive spirit.
In December 2017 we proudly presented two amazing concerts at St Mary’s church with the UK Queen of Soul, Mica Paris and her wonderful band. Mica performed an electrifying special concert of her show titled ‘Ella’ a dedicated performance of Mica’s own personal tribute to the legendary jazz singer Ella Fitzgerald. Mica was also joined by special guest Judi Jackson one of the acclaimed and rising female jazz singers in the UK.
Our second concert was an incredibly special treat for those that are fans of the British and iconic band Squeeze. The festival had the honour and pleasure of presenting the two founding members and the main song writing partnership of Glenn Tilbrook and Chris Difford as they performed a stripped back show that included all of the bands classic hits such as Up The Junction, Cool for Cats, Take Me I’m Yours, Pulling Mussels and many more.
If last December’s concerts were anything to go by you really do need to save our December dates in your diary.
