Our friends at the Old Dairy Brewery have been working hard on the Rye Jazz & Blues Festival BeeBop Top. We want to give you a peek at the beer and the brewery from your armchair before you come on down to the festival to enjoy a Pint in the pubs, bars and our own Spectrum Jazz Lounge around Rye! BeeBop Top ‘…satchmoo approved!’
Relax and enjoy the delightful summer jazz with the Old Dairy Brewery and their very drinkable and delicious amber ale. With wonderful pine and citrus aromas from carefully selected Chinook and Cascade hops, this beer is finely balanced with sweet spicy notes from cara rye malt.
The Old Dairy story began early in 2010, when the brewery was set up in an old milking parlour deep in the Kent countryside. The Old Dairy Brewery was an immediate success, building a loyal fan base among ale enthusiasts who appreciated our finely crafted recipes, locally sourced ingredients and interesting variety of beer styles.
They soon outgrew the milking parlour and in mid 2014, built a new brewery inside two World War II Nissen buildings just off the High Street in Tenterden, Kent. Not for nothing is this pretty market town known as the ‘jewel in the weald’; the brewery enjoys beautiful views over the rolling hills of the surrounding countryside. They also have a brewery shop where you can view the brewery and buy some delicious beers in bottles or draft to enjoy at home.
