With details of the latest government announcements now confirmed we are delighted to confirm that our programme of socially distanced and limited capacity events will go ahead as planned this summer from 26 – 30 August 2021. Our team can’t wait to welcome you to the great British seaside at the De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill, East Sussex.

Join us as we shake off the lockdown blues and all finally get the chance to hear and enjoy wonderful live music again with our friends and families.

Our plans from the outset have been to present these fabulous events with a socially distanced limited capacity, ensuring the safety of our customers, artistes, staff and sponsors. Our site will be safe and spacious with Covid related things in place including additional hand sanitisers and increased cleaning schedules.

In less than nine weeks we will be opening the gates at our breath-taking outdoor venue ‘The Beachside Lawn at The De La Warr Pavilion for you to experience the ‘Best of British Music at the Great British Seaside’.

Over the 5 days we bring you Paul Carrack, Britain’s best blue-eyed soul singer and dubbed “The Man with the Golden Voice”. Singer Gabrielle performs her chart-topping hits which include ‘Rise’, ‘Out of Reach’ and ‘Dreams’. British jazz funk giants Incognito headline an all-day celebration of British Jazz Funk, Latin & Jazz along with Courtney Pine, MF Robots, Snowboy & The Latin Section plus special guests.

Award-winning singer and songwriter Rumer performs her latest album ‘Nashville Tears’ as well as songs from her impressive back catalogue. Mica Paris, the UK Queen of Soul joins The Kingdom Choir and multi award-winning jazz singer songwriters Ian Shaw and Liane Carroll to celebrate the Best of British Soul, Gospel & Jazz.

Tickets are in high demand but we do still have availability, don’t forget that we only have a limited capacity! Booking now at either ryejazz.com or dlwp.com and also available via Ticketline.

We are thrilled that funding for our free programme of live music within Rye itself is gaining momentum due to the generosity of private patrons and local businesses. We are starting to book artistes for the Butter Market and street music… We will be bringing New Orleans to Rye. Keep updated on the website - we have some very special guests and exciting announcements to make!
